    Auctions

    1. What are BidBuySell LuckyBid Auctions?

» BidBuySell LuckyBid Auctions are where products/services are placed on auction with the following rules:

      • There is either a Maximum Bid Amount (MaxBid Auctions) or a Minimum Bid Amount (MinBid Auctions) for each auction.
      • There is a Maximum Number of Bids that will be accepted for the auction (or per item in the case of multiple item auctions).
      • An Administration and Handling Fee or Admin Fee is charged per bid.
      • Once the auction closes the bidder with the highest Unique Bid(in the case of MaxBid Auctions) or lowest Unique Bid (in the case of MinBid Auctions) is eligible to purchase the product/service at their bid amount (provided that this Bidder answered all the Qualifying Questions correctly).
      • If multiple items are available for the auction, then each bid will be allocated to one of the items and a winner will be selected for each item.

    2. What is the difference between a MaxBid Auction and a MinBid Auction?

      • In a MaxBid Auction, there is a maximum allowable bid and the winner is the person who places the highest Unique Bid (provided that this Bidder answered all the Qualifying Questions correctly).
      • In a MinBid Auction, there is a minimum allowable bid and the winner is the person who places the lowest Unique Bid (provided that this Bidder answered all the Qualifying Questions correctly).

In all other respects MaxBid and MinBid auctions are the same.

    3. How do BidBuySell LuckyBid Auctions Work?

» Please view the BidBuySell LuckyBid Bidding Process

    4. This seems too good to be true. What's the catch with BidBuySell LuckyBid Auctions?

» You really can win products for a fraction of their normal retail price however you need to pay a small non-refundable Administration and Handling Fee per bid that you place. Note that you are not guaranteed to win the auction for the amount that you bid - only if your bid is the highest Unique Bid (for MaxBid Auctions) or lowest Unique Bid (for MinBid Auctions) will you win the auction.

    5. Can I purchase these products directly from you without participating in the auctions?

» No. You cannot purchase any of the products directly. You must participate in the auctions.

    6. Who can join and bid? And how much does it cost?

» Anyone above the age of 18 can join. There is no cost for joining, but there is an Admin Fee for each bid placed.

    7. How many items are available in each auction?

» An Auction can have a quantity of one or more items available.

    8. Do I get notified when an auction starts or ends?

» We do not send out notifications when a auction starts. All participating members are however notified by email when an auction has ended.

    9. Why has the auction closed before the End Date?

» An auction may close regardless of the specified End Date if the Maximum Number of Bids is met or if we decide to close the auction earlier.

    10. Why is the auction still open when the End Date has passed?

» An auction may be extended with a new end date if the maximum Number of Bids is not reached by the original End Date of the auction.

    11. What do all the terms and icons I see on the site mean?

» Click here to view all the terms and their descriptions.

» You are allowed to place a Maximum Number of Bids per auction as indicated on the auction description page.

    2. Where can I view the Results and / or Winning Bid of an auction?

    3. How do I know if my bid was successfully submitted or accepted?

» You will be notified by email as soon as your Bid has been accepted or submitted into our database. You will also be notified if your bid is unique or not to enable you to place another bid.

    4. What happens if there are no Unique Bids?

      4.1. Lowest Unique Bid Auction

» In a single winner auction, should there be no Unique Bid then the Selected Bidder will be determined to be the Bidder with the lowest Bid Amount with exactly two Bids with the Bidder who placed the Bid first being selected.

      4.2 Highest Unique Bid Auction

» If there is no Unique Bid then the Winner is determined by the highest Bid Amount with exactly two Bids where the bidder bid first.

In case of no Bid Amount with exactly 2 Bids then the process is repeated for the highest Bid Amount with exactly three Bids and so on until there is a Winner.

    5. What is the Bid Reference?

» This is the Reference number to check up on when an auction is over to see if you are the winner. This number is sent in the bid confirmation mail you get after bidding on an auction.

» Yes. Login to the members area.
